Bruce Cox, DVMDr. Bruce Cox, Chief of Staff, has been practicing at Northside Animal Hospital since May 2003. He grew up in Waxahachie, Texas and currently lives in Robinson. He received both his undergraduate and DVM degrees from Texas A&M University in 1982 and 1985, respectively.

Previously, Dr. Cox practiced in Tyler at a mixed-animal practice for four years before purchasing Appleby Sand Road Animal Clinic in Nacogdoches. He practiced small animal medicine from 1989-2002 until he sold the practice to move back to Central Texas.

Dr. Cox has a special interest in internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. He has three mutts at home — Rosy, Sneeky and Coco. When not helping animals, Dr. Cox is serving the community, having been the pastor of a rural church for the past nine years. He enjoys reading short stories and loves spending time with his wife, Suzy, and their three daughters and son-in-law.

Doyle Cooper, DVMDr. Doyle Cooper grew up in Glen Rose, Texas and now resides in China Spring. He earned both undergraduate and DVM degrees from Texas A&M University in 1963 and 1964, respectively.

Dr. Cooper has owned and operated veterinary practices in Garland, Brownwood, San Antonio, and Waco, Texas. He has also been a solo practitioner. He has stayed at Northside Animal Hospital since 2012, because he truly enjoys the team and the collaborative environment.

In his spare time, Dr. Cooper enjoys traveling with his wife.

Dr. Jason Zollinger, DVMDr. Zollinger grew up in the mighty metropolis that is Ranger, Texas. He attended Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas where he earned his undergraduate degree in biology with a minor in chemistry. He left Alpine for College Station in 1999 and graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. He started his career in Ennis, Texas as a mixed animal practitioner but he has been a small animal practitioner since 2007.

Dr. Zollinger currently lives in Hillsboro, Texas with his wife, his four kids (three girls and a boy), a dog, and a cat. He enjoys spending time with, and providing life experiences for, his kids. He also enjoys long walks on the beach...
